lets get this started quick.
I plan on losing a little weight, and by a little I mean a lot.
I currently weigh 250 +/- a few pounds and I are roughly 5 foot 7 - 8 inches in height.
I am not currently a smoker (as of 2 days ago I was smoking 3/4 of a pack a day).
I am following the Hackers Diet which I started reading a few weeks back and because I too sit at a desk all day like the author, I too feel that I will benefit from his program.
I am still in the process of reading it, however, I feel that I am confident with what I have read so far and I will start tonight.
My goal:
Longterm - Lose 70 lbs overall and maintain that
Shortterm - Lose 20 lbs in 90 days
Longterm - quit smoking for good
Why am I doing this?
At 22 years of age, there is no reason why I need to be 250 lbs. At least 3 years ago I was able to put my girlfriend on my back (she is 5 foot 5 and 120 lbs, and very beautiful woman) and run up and down small hills and be not even the slightest of winded.
But this last Sunday we decided to go hiking and at the start of the hike we had to walk along this trail that lasted about 30 minutes, and was ever so slightly on a down grade.
Easy as pie I thought.
Man was I wrong, the hike back the other way lasted about 45 minutes - 1 hour and I felt like my heart was going to explode. I had to take three rest breaks on the way back to my truck.
I did not like this at all, and I know my health is rapidly deteriorating and I want to become physically fit again.
I will update this later tonight when I am not at work.
Also I plan on putting up some pictures so you all can see the before and hopefully the after pics as well as maybe weekly or monthly update pics.
Also I plan on publishing most of my logs on here as well.
Also tonight I will publish what my food intake was.
